We all benefit from quality instruction and a little external motivation. We offer Tacoma a wide range of yoga, fitness classes and special events. Whatever your interests, experience, or goals, we have a class for you.
Yoga is an ancient practice with many approaches. Our expert instructors help people of all backgrounds and skill levels engage with various yoga formats, always with one goal in mind. Not flexibility. Not mastering poses. Not building core strength. Our aim is always love. To help you appreciate and be more in touch with the body you're in. Our Tacoma Yoga class schedule changes on a rotating basis, but here's a sampling of what we offer.

This 5-week series offers a movement experience that draws upon foundational principles of yoga over the last 5,000 years. Each week experience an asana (physical posture) practice and discover yogic principles and philosophy that enable you to build a safe, sustainable and well-rounded practice with greater confidence.
In this series, we’ll explore the 8 limbs of yoga and simple, yet profoundly helpful queuing and adjustments allowing us to take what we learn on the mat, off the mat and into our daily lives.
Though this class is perfect for beginners who have no yoga experience it can also be beneficial for more seasoned practitioners curious about refinement and exploring the subtleties and nuances of a deeper, more conscious practice. After this fundamental series, you will walk away with a deeper understanding of yoga, pranayama (breathwork), mindful movement, and meditation.
We offer a variety of special events adding another essential layer to personal and collective wellbeing. Browse our current special events.
Wednesday, September 29th & October 20th at 6:30pm (90-minutes)
According to the law of physics, everything vibrates. The frequency at which an object naturally vibrates is resonance and each part of the body has its own natural resonance. Stress, illness, environmental factors cause the resonance to get out of tune, and sound healing helps tune the body, recalibrating and returning the body to its inherent healthy, balanced, natural resonance. In this healing session, a variety of frequencies from instruments such as crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and drums are utilized to tune the body. This subtle energy therapy allows the body to heal itself, influences our emotional bodies as well as our physical bodies, slowing brain waves and producing powerful effects at a cellular level shifting from disease to ease.

A ceremonial dose of cacao (1.5 oz) is served in the form of a warm drink. This heart-opening elixir can facilitate a pleasant, perhaps blissful state where participants can journey deeper into personal and collective healing. Ceremonies may include sound healing, meditation, drumming, song, conscious art-making, connection, sharing, dance, journeying, and asana. This ancient medicine helps connect participants with their inner guide while it may increase clarity, focus, creativity and an overall sense of wellbeing.
Cacao! It is not only delicious... it is also an extraordinary healthy superfood. With 300-1200 individual constituents, it is one of the most pharmacologically complex plant substances! Heath benefits include decreased inflammation, improved heart and brain health and mood enhancement. It cleanses the liver, releases emotions while the alkaloid content boosts circulation and absorption of nutrients. It is one of the highest plant sources of magnesium and iron and is also packed with chromium, copper, calcium, zinc, sulfur, and phosphorous.
Because it contains beneficial neurotransmitters and neuromodulators including Serotonin, Dopamine, Norepinephrine, Anandamine and Phenylethylamine (PEA) it can have therapeutic health benefits, create new neural pathways and change our daily experience to include more joy, love and connection. The heart-opening elixir, full of antioxidants helps facilitate a blissful state where you can journey deeper into personal and collective healing. Cacao helps connect us to our inner guide while increasing clarity, focus and creativity.
In an ideal world, every yoga class would provide one-on-one guidance to help you unlock the potential of each technique. Unfortunately, that's just not possible. Private instruction can help you get more out of your yoga practice and make group classes more enjoyable.

She is an amazing teacher and a very good person. I'm so glad I know her and I definitely recommend others to get private lessons with Brooke." - Ana F.
