Pilates focuses on improving core strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance in the body along with strength and flexibility in the back and spine. Attention is given to executing Pilates mat exercises with proper form, alignment and focus on the mind/body connection.
This 5-week series offers a full-body workout to build muscle endurance and strength to maintain functional movement. We will incorporate light weights, bands and isolation balls to target specific muscles and progressively build strength. Each week we will add new moves to challenge the body and core.
This 5-week series offers a whole-body workout that builds strength and aerobic endurance. Our Bootcamp sessions will provide a challenging, varied, and fun HIIT workout. HIIT is an acronym for High-Intensity Interval Training. As the name suggests, HIIT workouts are intense, with the rest periods observed using controlled intervals. The HIIT workout incorporates full-body, mixed exercises, which are done in short bursts followed by short rest periods.
The Full Body Bootcamp is designed for beginner to advanced students. Together in this small class, we will arrive to meet our personal goals while supporting one another in the successful completion of a HIIT workout. We will begin our day feeling accomplished, successful, and ready to tackle the next personal or professional goal.

Using powerful Vinyasa yoga, we will spend 45 minutes of our session moving and energizing our bodies, and the other portion learning how to effectively incorporate mindfulness and wellness into our daily routine. According to the law of physics, everything vibrates. The frequency at which an object naturally vibrates is resonance and each part of the body has its own natural resonance. Stress, illness, environmental factors cause the resonance to get out of tune, and sound healing helps tune the body, recalibrating and returning the body to its inherent healthy, balanced, natural resonance. In this healing session, a variety of frequencies from instruments such as crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and drums are utilized to tune the body. This subtle energy therapy allows the body to heal itself, influences our emotional bodies as well as our physical bodies, slowing brain waves and producing powerful effects at a cellular level shifting from disease to ease.

Michelle Lavonne Kucera-Jewell brings together nearly 25 years of experience working within for-profit and non-profit organizations, from guiding wilderness trips to facilitating corporate team building. After transitioning out of her role working in leadership development for Apple she found a passion and desire to commit fully to holding sacred space for her community. Her desire as an RYT 500, Chi Nei Tsang & Cacao Practitioner is to help people know that they are worthy of love, not because of their doing; simply because of their being. Michelle utilizes skills developed through her Master's Degree in Cultural Studies along with her certifications and training as an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist through the Himalayan Institute, Laughter Yoga Leader, Yoga Behind Bars, and Reiki Practitioner. She is humbled by the opportunity to learn from and co-create healing, transformational space in every sacred session. Learn More
