CUPPING &
TARGETED BODYWORK

TIME-TESTED, TARGETED THERAPY

Perfect for busy schedules; these sessions provide focused attention to one or two primary areas of concern. Ideal for quickly relieving acute tension, managing chronic pain in a localized area or treating yourself to a mid-day pick me up. Your therapist will customize the techniques to maximize therapeutic results in a limited time.

CUPPING

Cupping has existed for centuries as a way to treat aches and pains, but recently world-class athletes have brought it to greater prominence. How does it work? A highly-trained therapist applies special cups to strategic areas of the body, creating suction that draws increased blood flow to key areas of your body.

TARGETED BODYWORK

Tailored for your needs, this session may include cupping, scraping or assisted stretching.

Assisted Stretching: Utilizing passive movements, a therapist can assist you in stretching past your natural "protective" reflexes. Key benefits: increased range of motion, improved posture, and pain relief.

Cupping: Ancient healing technique that pulls your tissue away from the body, creating space between layers of facia and muscle. Key benefits: Increasing blood flow and releasing fascia.

Scraping: A therapist will use a tool to stroke or "scrape" the skin. Key benefits: Improved mobility, pain relief, and scar tissue remodeling.

Integrative Bodywork Manager, and Personal Trainer

Sierra’s journey with movement began early, as she thrived in dance and cheerleading, competing across the East Coast for 12 years. In 2019, she committed to transforming her life, embracing positive thinking and the power of mindset. This led her to explore personal training and bodywork as tools for healing and growth.

Now, as a personal trainer and bodywork practitioner, Sierra specializes in Deep Tissue, Sports, and Ashiatsu massage. Her expertise supports clients’ goals, from enhancing athletic performance to relieving chronic pain, and her personal recovery journey helps her connect deeply with each client.

  • Cory Power

    Licensed Massage Therapist

Cory is a Tacoma native who found his way back home in 2023 after spending his 20s down in Portland. In Portland he discovered the profound impact that connecting with the body can provide. Cory experienced personal growth and a shift in perspective through bodywork, hydrotherapy, and mindfulness. He found his way into massage therapy in the hopes of helping others facilitate their own change.

While attending Alexandar School of Natural Therapeutics in Tacoma, Cory found his specialty in Trigger Point Therapy. He finds it extremely effective at reducing tightness, alleviating pain, and increasing range of motion. However, Cory believes that every body is unique and also employs Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Sports massage depending on what a person needs that day.

Outside of work Cory enjoys experiencing nature through hiking, kayaking, swimming, snowboarding, and exploring the beach with his wife and son. You’ll also find him enthusiastically cheering on our Seattle sports teams!
